About Us

The MidAmerica Contingency Planning Forum (MCPF) is a nonprofit (501(c)(6)) professional organization that was formed in 1994 to facilitate the exchange and dissemination of information among novice and experienced professional planners within private and public sectors regarding all aspects of contingency planning, including business interruption avoidance, business resumption planning, contingency operations, and disaster recovery planning.

An elected Board, comprising 8 unpaid positions, manages the MCPF which currently serves  the St. Louis region. Organizational revenues are generated through annual membership dues of $40 per member and a biennial Symposium.
